using Purchase Short Code on a page vs. a post

Is the Download product published?

I have not published the post because I did not want this to appear as a post on my web site – I wanted it to appear as a page. I have uploaded the file to be downloaded. With this plugin, does it have to be published as a post?

It will never appear as a post, so you can publish it.

You’re probably not seeing it because the product isn’t published.

Thanks – that fixed my problem! I set the button options to Buy Now, but the link does not appear to be working that way – when I click the link to buy the download, the purchase is being added to a cart.

It won’t ever be added to the cart, it’s supposed to go directly to PayPal.
