Using redirection for link start page photos to pages

  • Hello,

    I came up with the brilliant idea to use a redirection-plugin to direct link the photos on the first page to pages.

    Now I wonder if that can have any bad side-effects for example in terms of SEO or similar?

    Hope an update of this Theme will include some of this updates. Would make me happy

    There should be an option for direct linking within the WordPress customizer which you can access by navigating to Appearance > Customize > Photo Post Method.

    Of course, if you are looking to link to a custom URL, then that plugin sounds like a great idea! It should not affect your SEO.

    This Theme is wonderful. So great. I just wish it was a little bit more flexible in the design. Any news about when we can have some updates?

    When we first designed this theme we intended it to be used as a simple photo gallery. Since it’s release, we have been shocked (and very pleased!) as to how versatile the theme has become.

    We have been listening to every suggestion that our users have submitted, and intend to release a new, much more polished version to attend to the type of functionality which can power a complete website in a variety of ways.

    We plan on either updating Gridsby, or creating a brand new Gridsby 2.0, hopefully to be released by the end of the month.

    Well, that is awesome news! Keep up the good job ??

    I would be so happy if the new Gridsby could include some of the features that I included in my email that I sent to you. My name was Emil.

    One thing that I really miss out is also the possibility of having the latest blog posts, arriving directly to the front page. And keep the ones that you want there for example with the stick-function.

    Appart from all this its an awesome Theme and Im so happy you are working on it.

    Thanks again for all your hard work. I recommend everyone that still didn’t upgrade to the Pro version to do so. Its just awesome.

    Plugins do not work or see the facebook like box .
