New to wordpress, want to build a webpage using the Responsive theme, but it will be exclusively a static site, using pages only, no posts.
Question is, can I use HTML to build the pages, like the home page, or can I only use the theme elements and widgets in the pages, no html?
I tried adding html to a page and it just shows the code.
Maybe I should just be starting with html, and skip WordPress? is there an advantage to WordPress vs html if not blogging? Sorry about the basic questions.
