• I have been using Say What to translate some individual texts from English themes to Dutch. That works great.
    For a number of themes / plugins there is already a Dutch translation available. Sometimes though it’s essential to adjust a word here or there. So I thought I’d tried to get this to work like this.
    a) I use the default Dutch translation and
    b) I try to use Say What to change some individual changes in translations on top of that.

    The big advantage would be that I can keep using automatic translation updates with some custom finetuning here and there.

    But I can not get this to work. Am I trying to do something with Say What that is not possible?

    Thank you!

    Hi;

    It’s not really designed for that – although it seems like it should work. You will need to use the original english string, not the translated string you’re trying to override though. – although I’ve not tested it – so maybe not.
