I created a great optin form that I want to bring in as a popup. A script was created, which is HTML but when I put that in the form, the only thing I get is a white box. What should I be doing?

    Dear @waikikkc,

Currently we have some limitations in our free that don’t allow to include any scripts for security reasons.
But we’ll break those limitations in our upcoming updates and you’ll be able to include scripts.
In case you need this functionality now, please, contact us directly and we’ll make a workaround for you!

    Hello,

I appreciate you getting back to me. I thought I responded but it doesn’t look like I did.
Could you please let me know about the workaround you mentions?

Thank you very much. I’m trying to figure out why your program is better than other, free, programs. ?? I appreciate your help in convincing me to spend the money on your program.

    Thanks again,

    K.C.

    Dear @waikikkc,
With version 2.3.9.1 you are allowed to insert scripts or styles into the popup.
For that just turn WordPress editor (WYSIWYG) to text mode and write necessary code there, and save your popup.

If you need any further assistance please let us know.

    Best Regards,
    Sygnoos Team.

Thank you very much for your response. Ok…I updated my version. Am I wrong to assume that my script would be placed in the HTML option? I understand about text mode. I tried that and it didn’t work. Still getting a blank.

This is the scrip that I am attempting to put in.

    <p><script src=”//optindesigner.com/show.js?p=NjU0NiMxIzA=”></script></p>

I appreciate your help and I apologize if I am not understanding something.

    Thank you,

    K.C.

Ok, I’m confused. Let me tell you what I’ve tried.

    1) I added a popup as an HTML and put the script in there. Then I created a page that I want the popup to go over. Before saving, I chose the popup from the menu at the lower left. (There is only one)

    That didn’t work.

    2) I tried putting the code that is created by the program in the popup list into a blank page, and that didn’t work either.

Please do me a favor and give me step by step ’cause something is being lost in translation.

Thank you and I really hope that I get this working. ??

Sometimes I feel like I’m the only one that has these kinds of issues. I hope I’m not and do appreciate your help.

    K.C.

    Dear @waikikkc,
The script you are using (<script src=”//optindesigner.com/show.js?p=NjU0NiMxIzA=”>) contains document.write javascript function which is no good practice at all(https://stackoverflow.com/questions/802854/why-is-document-write-considered-a-bad-practice).
We also try to insert your code inside the standard WordPress page and as a result we can see blank page without any content.

In this case I will suggest you to contact optindesigner.com’s support team and ask them about your issue. Also if they support Iframes you can emmbed your form it.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Best Regards,
    Sygnoos Team.
