Using the Single posts template for the main blog or index.php page

  • Hi,
    I currently purchased a wordpress template that features a blog template. I love how the single posts is designed, because it features the image/video, accompanying text, date and the number of comments.
    But I HATE now the main blog page is designed. It only features the picture or video of the posts, and hides the accompanying text.

    Is there any way that I can use the same design template of the single posts and apply it to the main blog page featuring other posts, along with the appropriate “read more” link?

    Any help is appreciated.
