Using the & Symbol

  • Hi All

    I wonder if you can help me. I am having problems using the & Symbol in the url. For example i am try to put m&s but when i save it states ms.

    M&S is also the keyword that i would like to use for the page but it in the page text it is displaying the keyword as M&S I have tried to edit and change it but it keeps reverting back.

    Please can some help. I am not very techie so a easy solution would be great please.

    Yes sure. Please take a look at the url I specified m&s but the & is missing.

    Inaddition although the & symbol is showing properly in the text body of the page. I cannot SEO the page as it is saying the & is not visible and so no keyword is visible.

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

    Characters like ‘&’ are automatically stripped from permalinks by default. Failing to do this would result in malformed urls. To be frank, you’re not going to get much additional seo juice from an ‘&’ in the permalink. Focus on the content of the post instead.
