using the wordpress calendar for own purposes

  • Hi there,
    is it possible to use the wordpress integrated calendar for own purposes?
    i would like to use the wordpress calendar as a datetimepicker without using an external plugin.
    has anyone got an idea how/if it is possible to ‘tap’ the wordpress calendar?
