Using this for years

I have been using Polylang for years and since I work in an environment where multi-language is a basic requirement, this is my goto plugin for the purpose.
When I first came to Japan, there was no multi-language CMS solution other than a very poorly implemented version of Joomla. Now, with Polylang with WordPress, multi-language sites are financially reasonable to everyone.
The key is understanding what it is and what it is not. It is also key in my case to use only the portions I need. We do our own translations and in our case that is optimal.
This plugin is very lightweight for what I use it for. It’s simple to use for non-web trained folks in our organization. I would use the “Pro” version but for a non-profit organization like ours, we just can’t budget for that.
