• Hello,

I’m wondering, how I can use translation texts from WooCommerce stored in their .po files using this great plugin? For example, my site’s main language is set to French, with English being the second-hand language. However, while accessing WooCommerce shop category page, it says “Shop now”, but I would like it to translate to French. The translation is located at /wp-content/themes/my-theme/language/

    Thank you for your response!

EDIT: I’ve installed Loco Translate and it helped me fix some translation issues. The issue above was related to the theme itself and it’s solved. However, it seems like WooCommerce’s translations do not detect the site’s language somehow. While using French, its strings do not translate, however they are translated in its .po files. Any ideas?
    Thank you

  • Hello,

Thanks for reporting. Normally the localized texts translated in .po files of plugin should work fine. But sometimes plugins use localized text too soon and this cause translation to fail. Can you give me an example of a text that do not translate in woo-commerce? Maybe I can find out whats going wrong.
