Using UA & GA4 at same time with GTM4WP

  • Hello,

    I have followed your instructions on how to install GA4 analytics using GT4WP on my WP/Woocommerce site and I believe is tracking correctly.

    I am using WooCommerce Analytics Tracking Pro for UA in parallel and noticed the numbers are significantly lower.

    I would like (if possible) to use GTM4WP for both UA and GA4. Do I use your guide for installing UA with GTM4WP? Since they are separate properties I wanted to check in first to make sure 1) that this is possible and 2) to make sure there’s no duplication.

    I will remove the WooCommerec Analytics Tracking Pro plugin if I can do all of it through GTM4WP.

    Hi,

    Sure, you can use both UA and GA4 tags within your GTM container and you can use both setup guides of GTM4WP to track using both GA versions.
