Using “upload” to add plugins…

  • Is there a way to use the upload funtion on WP to add plugins so that their is no need for a direct FTP?

  • You could temporarily change the destination directory under Options > Miscellaneous. “php” would have to be an allowed file extension, as well (though I might make that a temporary setting too, if you have users you allow upload access).
