• Any thoughts on if it is possible to use VideoShare VOD to show Youtube videos in the VideoJS player.
I know it is possible with other VideoJS player plugins, just using a shortcode and placing the URL of the youtube video in the shortcode parameter.

    Thanks for any suggestions, thoughts.

This plugin is for managing and publishing videos on your own site, similar to Youtube.
To embed Youtube videos you could use the Youtube embed code.

Totally agree! It is an absolutely great plugin!

The only thing this is missing is a youtube link… I for one need it as some are self-hosted and some are youtube hosted… It’s not as simple as embedding because if a playlist is active the code will need editing and we’ll lose it all when you update it.

The only other suggestion I’d have is a “real time” playlist schedule using your current drag and drop style you have on your playlist creator.

A scheduled playlist would mean that everyone is watching the same thing at the same time without having a “live” stream. Eg. Admin can set a playlist that plays and changes to the next video automatically and if someone comes onto the site they wont be on video1 they’ll be on video4 like any others that have stayed on the site. I tbink this would a great feature too showing Current Time, Time Remaining, Time and title of next video coming up .

As I said great plugin and great that you keep fixing any bugs… would be good to see the two tweaks above to take it to the next level!

PS Keep up the great work!
