Using Vimeo’s Video File Links

  • Hello and good day.

    Vimeo offers our videos as separate distribution files to use our own players. Can we use these video files in your video embed block?

    Vimeo links offer different smaller sizes. On my website, I have small videos on a loop for decoration they do not need to be the original size. Using the smaller sizes will help decrease load times.

    Hi,
    currently you cannot embed it from this URL because is not embeddable. You could download the file and add it in your Media (Media->Add New) and then use Gutenbee Video block instead to play it.

    Hello,

    Is it possible to add this as a feature request? Other Gutenberg players have the ability to play external MP4, but I like your solution the best.

    Also, I was hoping to keep video files hosted elsewhere such a Vimeo.
