Using with BBpress – All names show as A

    There’s probably a conflict with BBPress somewhere. I’ll install BBPress on my dev environment and see what’s happening there. I’ll have some more time tomorrow in the evening, so I’ll look into that.

    Okay, so posts in bbpress forums are not saved in database as comments, but as posts. It is a problem, because I can’t use the typical comment functions to get the needed information. I can easily get both username and email of registered users posting on bbpress, but it gets more problematic with guests posting on your forum. It can be done, but I would prefer to avoid using solutions specific to certain system, such as bbpress, therefore I’ll try to think of some universal solution to this problem.
