Using WordPress for a simple 5 page business site?

  • Hi,
    I’m wondering if it is possible to customise WordPress fairly easily to make
    a site which looks like this one:-

    I’d like to be able to move this site to WordPress and then have the ability to
    easily modify it and add content, integrate Gallery2 maybe.

    So, is this do-able, or am I starting with the wrong product? I dont need comments, catagories etc.

    I’ve installed WordPress 1.5 recently and found it so far to be very good, lots of additions and a great following, only wish I’d looked at it sooner!

  • It might be an overkill – but it’s possible.
    I did something similar for a client, using only the Pages feature; no post, comments, whatsoever.
    All you have to do, if you want to keep the present look, to make a theme that looks like your present site.
