• Just thought I would show my event website off – this is for an annual event in the Napa Valley to benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Visit https://www.vineyardwalk.com!

I was turned on to WordPress by a volunteer who responded to my post for help creating a website on VolunteerMatch. I wanted an easy to use tool that I could then take over and continue updating the site after it was created. She helped to pick a template and modify that for our needs.

I run the site just on GoDaddy and used their auto-install. I really like WordPress and know I need to upgrade, but am a bit afraid now because when I tried the auto-upgrade on GoDaddy, it failed. I have had some minor issues like the cellpadding not rendering (cellpadding=5 looks like 0 on the site), keep losing breaks (
) and word wrapping around photos not rendering (so I used a table instead), but overall I can’t complain.

I’ve been learning a bit of HTML online so it gets frustrating when it doesn’t show up like it should. Well, I am sure I will continue to learn more as I go along!

Anyone in the Napa or Bay Area is very much invited to attend our event!

    Michelle
