Usser permissions

  • I have created a user with permission to edit the results of the matches.
    When I enter with that user I can see all the games, but I want that I can only access those of a competition (there are 11 different games), it would even be advisable that I could only access the matches of a particular team.
    Can you tell me how I can do and if possible?

    Summary, I have eleven leagues in play at once.

    1o I want them to be able to edit the results of a league, without having access to the games of the other leagues.

    2o Is it possible to filter the matches of a single team to show them to a user with that permission?

    Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry for the trouble.

    At the moment we don’t have this kind of option in our plugin. The team manager role (which allows team edits and events creation) has full access to all competitions. You’d need to create a new role to restrict it to some competitions only.

    Unfortunately, we can’t provide custom coding. If this isn’t a feature we have in our plugin we’ll certainly consider it for future updates, but if you want you can hire a developer to code that for you.

    Our support here is limited to setup issues with a free plugin that we gladly share with the WordPress community. We’d appreciate if you could understand the limits of our work.

    I don’t think this plugin would do, as they want to create a new capability (or even something more complex than that) to restrict users to a specific post type and taxonomy (competition). So they’d need to lock the new event or even edit interface for their desired competition, and block edits from items that aren’t from that competition.

    Not to mention the new wp-admin section to assign roles / users to specific competitions (as we don’t have this right now).
