• Hello,

I’ve installed this on 3 current WP installs (Not MU), 2 out of 3 have been broken.

The current site reports “Call to undefined function xcache_get() in …Minify/Cache/XCache.php on line 194”

I did have Xcache turned on but I kept getting errors and found that I needed to change a variable to 100M, but since that’s not supported in cpanel, found it hard to fix. Since my SSH was turned off, but then I turned it on. ETC. ETC.

I think you can see the issue. Plus the plugin doesn’t make Google happy, seems it still leaves some blocking JS in the header.

Best wishes and thanks for all your hard work. Sorry to say, I’ll have to find another solution (and won’t be using w3TC), just wanted to let you know about the issues, if you’d like to fix them and make you plugin better.

    Bye

  • Hi snavazio,

Disk and especially Disk Enhanced (depending on your setup) are what you would want to use for Page caching, not XCache (which should, generally speaking, only be used for Database and/or Object caching).

Autoptimize is the superior minification solution for numerous reasons that should be self-evident once you start exploring the plugin. Frank (the plugin’s author) is also quite dedicated to the supporting the plugin.

    Best,
    AJ
