Hi. I’m generating a QR Code that is in UTF-8 Format. When I generate the code, the preview works great, but once it hits the live site, it removes the UTF-8 characters.

For example: “%2F%2F%2F%2F%2F%2F%2F%2F%2F8AAAAAAAAAAA%3D%3D” shows up perfectly on the UR Code Preview in the word press builder. But on the published page it shows up as “AAAAAAAAAAA”. So all the UTF-8 characters disappear when the live page is produced.

    Any suggestions?

This might help show you the problem:

    Hello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.

Indeed, the preview image is generated directly from the data via JavaScript, and the published page datas are first processed by PHP functions, this can eventually be the reason of the UTF-8 characters removed.

I will check this for a later fix update.

    Thank you, best regards.
