My first review was an angry negative. But the developer’s response was honest, professional, and non-reactive. She also said she would implement some changes to resolve one of my complaints. So, a few months later, I tried Zotpress again and am thrilled to be able to reverse my earlier rating and give it a full five stars. Although it is still not 100% perfect, neither are any of my sites or OERs, so who am I to quibble? The most important asset that any plugin can have is a developer who operates like this one.

Thank you, developer, for creating and improving this excellent resource!

A better way to help would be to contact me so I can debug the issues and release a new version that others can quickly and directly benefit from. I take the development of this plugin very seriously. A good part of its success is due to the positive, participatory interactions I have with Zotpress users in situations like these. I’m extending this offer to on good faith; I only ask that you do the same if you choose to contact me. https://katieseaborn.com/contact

I was able to pinpoint the source of one issue you mentioned (re/deactivation) and will be releasing a fix soon.

I can underline Katie’s statement. Zotpress is one of the most time saving plugins I use (and I’m a wordpress beginner). Katie’s support is exceptional, not only with bugs but also with beginner’s problems. I work scientifically with Zotero. And keeping hundreds of citations up to date, which are spread all over my website, is as easy as pressing a single import button.
