• Hey all,

I’m using UTW (Ultimate Tag Warrior) on my blog. I have it all setup and it is working fine. Currently I am using embedded tags (I tag keywords in my posts and they become links). I was looking for some ideas of what these tag links should point to.

One idea I had was to have the links point to a search of whatever is linked. For example, if you click a link that says Widget A, it goes to the search page for Widget A. This seems like a pretty useful feature. What do you guys think? Is there anything better I could do? Also, how would I go about implementing this (I am not a programmer, so an easy solution would be best).

    Thanks in advance!

Still looking for an answer to this. Is there anything I need to clarify?

Nothing to clarify. What you are asking is to modify the plugin, which generally won’t be responded to in a day, if at all.

You may be better off looking at Christine’s support forum for UTW, and possibly offer a feature request.

I thought there might be an easy solution to this.

Otherwise, what do you people normally use the tag feature for? Like what is the plugin supposed to do when you click a tag link?

For me, it takes the visitor to a page of other posts with the same tag. Many discussions have been had over the differences and uses of tagging vs categories, and it comes down to preference.

UTW does have a tag search feature that lets visitors choose multiple tags, albeit it needs work for sites with a lot of tags, IMO.

I’m also using it to show list of posts with same tag.
