  • If WordPress 5.0 has a face I’d PUNCH IT!!! The Classic Editor isn’t working… I can’t figure out how to roll WP back before 5.0… my custom code is gone. I’ve tried restoring from a backup that hasn’t worked. AAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!

    Hi jensdes, is this an issue with my plugin, Disable Gutenberg? It sounds like maybe you are having issues with the WordPress Block Editor.. Please let me know how I can help, thank you.

    Yeah sorry Jeff, my complaint was with the whole upgrade to 5.0, not your plug in. :-(. I’ve already installed the original editor plugin but the problem is way beyond disabling Gutenberg. It’s basically triage on my site right now I have to figure out which bleeding hole to patch first just to even get to a standstill. Unfortunately, I hardly work on this site (I manage multiple WP sites) and I’m very familiar with my other themes but not this one. If you know where I can post my issue in the proper place I will do that. Thanks

    Wow sorry to hear about the upgrade difficulties, hopefully you get everything worked out okay. As this is an issue with upgrading to WP 5.0, I *think* this would be the best place to ask for help:
