v 1.6.2 seems to delete all of the plug in settings and leave us with a transparent header with no overlap. Also, the icon shink setting seems to have gone from px to % which drastically changes the shirk sizes. The headers shrink is now quite clunky, where it was very smooth before.

We’ve tested this over multiple sites, that use various cache plug ins, no cache, etc.. and have had to restore back ups to avoid having to fix them manually. v1.5.5 works nice.

Hi, some of the setting controls changed which means they would have to be toggled or set again. I apologize for that inconvenience.

The logo shrink setting has always been % until a chrome/elementor update broke that. The setting was changed to scale as a temporary fix but this didn’t allow the header to shrink.

It turns out that making the settings compatible with containers and sections is almost impossible. The transitions have never looked better for containers but the height transition refuses apply to a section. This is probably why elementor has completely different settings for each.

I’m trying to fix each bug as they are reported but I’m extremely busy with normal work and life. If version 1.5.5 works best for you thats fine to stay on right now.

I’ll keep working and you can update as you please. I think I’m about to add the same size settings that elementor uses for it’s images. You’ll easily be able to resize however you need.

Again, sorry for the inconveniences. I’m doing my best to accommodate all possible use case scenarios. It’s tedious.

One would expect new updates to preserve the settings of existing users. Appreciate this might be your side project, but we’ll start deactivating and find another solution if thats the case.

I just created a new version 1.6.3 that is identical to 1.5.5. I can see these changes need to be done differently. You and everyone can safely update and essentially revert. It was a mistake to try and make so many changes in a single update. My apologies for causing problems. That’s the opposite of what I’m trying to do here.

    I hope this helps

Unfortunately, it seems like we loose setting for “shrink header after scroll” and we’ve also notice that the “shrink logo” has become not-smooth.

    Hi,

I’ve just released an update that fixes the logo color bug and other small things. One of those is the CSS for transitions. Please let me know if that is better for you now.

I have a fix for the known logo/header shrink bug, but I’m pushing smaller updates to try to avoid problems. That fix is next up on the list. I’m also following your suggestion to preserve the old settings. The next update will only add new controls to resize the logo.

I really appreciate your feedback. If you are interested in beta testing I could use the help. You can email me [email protected] and we can set that up if you’re interested.
