v 2.1.79 does not create new galleries

    OK, I made fresh install version 2.1.79 of Nextgen Gallery. When I want to create new gallery / add pictures i can’t. Progress is freezing on adding pictures. After waiting some time nothing (creating gallery) happened.
    When i install older (in my opinion the best ?? ) version 2.1.49 everything works fine.
    So what is the problem in this basic function?

    @losiak – Based on the premise of a “fresh” installation where you are using a default WordPress Twenty series theme and only have NextGEN Gallery installed and activated you should not have any issues whatsoever with NextGEN Gallery functionality.

    That being the case, there may be something in the general installation and/or the server environment that is creating a blockage for this basic feature.

    @photocrati – I’ve used Virtue (free) theme. OK, today, (a few days later) I’ve checked on another server and adding gallery gone fine. So, i came back to first server, uninstalled v.2.1.49 and installed v.2.1.79 (not upgrade) once again.This time adding gallery works fine. Was it server bad day? ??

    @losiak – That may be possible … or, it may have been the update process did not complete correctly. Unfortunately there is no way to really point to a specific reason in this case.
