Please provide me with a URL for your site. You don’t seem to be having 2.63, if that is the issue – in 2.63 this option is present (you can search for “Layout Processing Mode”).

    Alternatively please upgrade to 2.64.

I can’t not provide you an URL because my site is still using 2.6.2 (that works).
I will try to update to 2.6.4 a one last time and try to use this new option and if it do works better I will still with 2.6.2 ??

    OK.

Another thing to note – even in the JS mode, there is no guarantee that you will not get a big image in the last row. Every time you reload the page, the layout can change in the JS mode – this has been true since 2015, when the justified grid layout was introduced. This happens because the justified grid assigns a random number of photos per row (there are several very old threads on this forum that detail how the justified grid randomizes your layout each time).

I update to 2.6.4 and use the JS layout it seems to works…

I hope that the JS mode will not slow down my website … ?

That is what you have had on your site all these days ??
The main advantage of the CSS layout is that it minimizes something called Cumulative Layout Shift. Otherwise the JS layout is more precise and gives better results. If you have been happy with the speed of your page upto version 2.62, stick with the JS layout.

    > My Loading Mode was set on PHP, so do I have to change it to Javascript ?

That is not needed. The Loading Mode option is ignored for WP galleries, since there is no call being made to a separate server.

    ok
Just to bad that the CSS mode do not work versy well for justified galleries (in my site) because CLS metric will be a part of new Google 2021 algorithm…
    Thanks

That, really, is a matter of opinion. At the end of the day, you get used to seeing things in a certain way (and, more importantly, what you are getting is a justified grid even with CSS – just a different number of images in the rows). And as I have said, the JS mode doesn’t guarantee that things will look the same every time. Because of the random number of items per row, it is very much possible for the last row to have 1 item. E.g. for a long time in the JS mode itself, the demo page for Flickr on my site used to have one giant image in the last row. While it doesn’t look that great, you get used to it being that way, and on a mobile device it does not make much of a difference. In fact there are some users who prefer having huge images on their landing pages.

One thing you can probably try is to reduce the value in Photonic → Settings → Generic Options → Layouts → Random Justified Gallery – Minimum Tile height. There is a chance that might fit more images in the same row even in the CSS layout.
