V 5.9.1 events_cal is not showing list of events when clicking on the date

  • I am using [events_cal] shortcode to display the events calendar but when I click on the date, list of events does not appear as a popup

    I have tried [events_cal choose=”true”] still no effect

    This happned after updating from 5.8.5
