Other plugins are installed and activated, but only Facebook plugins are not installed.
When you click Install Plug-in, the installation is rejected with the following comments. This phenomenon is the same when rebooting and reloading.

“Installation failed: Could not create directory.”

I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
    Thank you.

Hi there @vpmenager, thanks for reaching out!

This sounds like a peculiar issue. I checked to make sure it’s not a plugin issue by installing it on a few sites across different types of hosts. No issues were encountered.

Here are a few things you can try:

    • Download the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin directly, then go to WP Admin > Plugins > Add New, click Add New > Upload plugins > Select the file you downloaded > Install now. Hopefully this will either install it for you, or perhaps give you an option to overwrite whatever already exists
    • Failing the above, try to access your files directly via FTP or your host’s file manager. First, unzip/extract the file you downloaded, then navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and upload the facebook-for-woocommerce directory and its contents there.

If the second suggestion also fails, please reach out to your host’s support to help them check why you’re not able to upload files to that directory.

“Your host’s support to help them check” is this part of the company that is in charge of my hosting service?

    Thanks for getting back @vpmenager,

is this part of the company that is in charge of my hosting service?

Yes! You will want to contact your hosting company should the suggestions that my colleague has offered fail to resolve this.

Let us know how it goes.
