    Hi,

I have multiple sites that have been seen massive drop-offs of visitor traffic in Jetpack stats since the Amp upgrade to 1.0. Google Analytics is not showing the same thing. Looking at the tracked URLs, all of the Amp URLs have gone missing.

I believe that Amp may be removing the tracking pixel. Is this an issue with Amp or with Jetpack?

  • Tried the temp fix above, doesn’t work.

Just got a message stating that the fix for this bug is scheduled to go out as part of Jetpack version 6.9. The projected release date is January 10th https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/milestone/116

Bit disappointed about that. I expected Jetpack to come up with a faster update (maybe 6.8.2). Since this is a clear bug and many users must be affected.

Jetpack also suggested to disable AMP in the meantime. But that’s definitely not an option. We heavily depend on that tool; it’s giving our users a better experience.

You could apply the changes from the Jetpack pull request to your site in the mean time.

Thanks. Just did it and after refreshing the cash the stats are working fine on AMP-pages again.

Jetpack 6.9 is out now! Does it solve your problems?

It looks like <amp-pixel src="https://pixel.wp.com/....></amp-pixel> is present on AMP sites. I think that, the problem’ve been solved after update to Jetpack 6.9.
