Can you try manually deactivating and reactivating? I noticed that too on one of my test sites (a WordPress multisite) but I don’t know why. Deactivating and reactivating fixed it.

    Yeah, that’s sorted it.

Ok, I think I know the problem. I created a new capability for Postman in v1.7, ‘manage_postman’. But the code only runs during activation, and depending on how you let WordPress upgrade Postman, this code might not run – so the current user will no longer have the required privilege to see the admin screen.

Thanks guys I’ll release a fix.

Sounds right. I tried going back into the settings (from history on URL bar in browser) and it said something like need admin access or something like that.

Deactivating and reactivating worked to get the menus back for me, too.

However, I’ve noticed now that html e-mail templates are not being recognised and are not shown correctly in e-mails, only the pure code.

When deactivating postman smtp, the html works fine and the proper layout shows in the email.

Is there a way to go back to previous version until you come out with the fix without losing my settings?

You can delete the current version and then install v1.6.24.

I’ve noticed now that html e-mail templates are not being recognized

Which plugin are you using for e-mail templates?

Thanks, I’m using the inboundnow ‘leads’ plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/leads/), together with their other plugins ‘landing pages’ and ‘calls to action’.
This plugin sends out a ‘new lead notification’ e-mail when a new lead comes in through the site and uses a custom html e-mail template for this.

I am using WooCommerce. Templates look as they should to me.

Ok, I’ll install it and see if I can find the problem! Hang tight.

And btw, thank-you both for being reluctant beta testers ??

You are welcome, thank you for your prompt replies and great support! ??

Just confirming that going back to previous version didn’t make me lose my settings and e-mail html is fine again with plugin activated.

    Keep up the great work!

Maybe I am missing something but just upgraded to V1.7 and can’t find the settings page.

This is fixed in Postman v1.7.1
