• Hi,
why did you move Responsive Lightbox from Settings into root of Dashboard menu? After upgrade I was aghast when I saw two new items: Lightbox and Gallery.
There is option to disable Gallery, but there is no way to move Lightbox menu item into properly submenu – Settings.

Why I should regulary open Lightbox settings? Is there any frequently visited option? If not, it should be inside Settings.

  • I have to agree. It works fine under Settings. Adding another to the root starts to make the root huge.

    I agree too, don’t make it top-level.

Agree with above, I used a menu editor to hide them in the meantime.

    Thanks for your feedback.

Honestly speaking it’s a bit hard to keep that complex and extedable plugin as it is now in just a settings submenu.

But we’ll think what we can do here. It should be possible for the Lightbox menu item, not for the Gallery item.

Adding to our to do list and we’ll try to develop an option for that in one of the future releases.

maybe its possible to append the menu item to the bottom of the root as other plugins do so a possible custom menu order wont get much affected.

how can i disable the new “Gallery” post type?

Ah – found it at Lightbox -> Builder -> and decheck “Enable advanced gallery builder”

i also looked up the post_type name: rl_gallery – just in case to check possible naming confilcts here.

I will discover the new features on a test instance later.

anyways – the plugin runs fine since years!
