v2.2.1 blocks REST API endpoints

  • Upon updating this plugin, the REST API stopped working. Instead of JSON data, it returns a blank screen and HTTP status 200. Password protection is not enabled. If I check the box to Allow REST API Access, it works again.

    My expectation was that the Allow REST API checkbox only applies when password protection is enabled, and that instead of returning nothing, a JSON object of some fashion would be returned.

    I’m not sure if it’s everyone or just me, thought I’d give a heads up.
