  • pov = point of view

    thats one person’s opinion.

    >> older version

    what do you mean?

The two branches have releases that came out the same day. there is 2.1.3 and 2.0.10.

On a completely unrelated note, WHY do you have a lunarpages banner on your site w/o having some sort of affiliate code linked to it???

I used lunarpages quite a while ago, with another domain, and made a fair amount of $$ promoting them with an image on my site.

You really need to look into that.

there *is* an affiliate link there .. if you click you will see .. it just doesn’t show up on the roll-over.

any advice (opinion) on which version would be best to install .. anywhere i can read about pro’s vs con’s.

    >>> there *is* an affiliate link there .. if you click you will see .. it just doesn’t show up on the roll-over.

ahhh, good deal then ?? Hope you’re making lots of $$. ??

My opinion: I use the 2.0.x branch, like vkaryl 2.1.x didnt introduce anything I needed. In fact, its arguable that things got introduced that _no-one_ needed.

I recommend taking a look through the forums and Google. There’s a lot of information, I realize.

I will say, in an admittedly bias voice, that I think 2.0. is more stable. That’s just MY pov, though. ??

    appreciate your comments.

    your pov matters.

i am wp novice, know next-to-nothing.

stability is big consideration for me. unstable features are not what i want.

when you say “branch”, it makes me feel that > never will the two meet .. that they will continue to divert off to different paths.

.. which sounds incorrect. why do you use the word “branch”?

i can wait for a better release. no hurry, since i have mt installed & running.
