v2.3 upgrade but still saying “New Version Available”?

That message appears because in reading the wp_options table update_core value it believes you don’t have the current version.

Be interesting to see what the value of that record is in wp_options.

Current this is what mine shows:

What happens if you browse to …/wp-admin/upgrade.php?

If nothing happens, and you know the upgrade is completed (e.g. you have a wp_terms table) then you could try to make your update_core value the same as what I listed above.

Please make sure you backup your database before doing anything.
