    Has anyone had any issues with this latest update adding duplicate fields to your forms? That happened to me right after I updated my NinjaForms plugin. Unfortunately, things got so weird that I had to complete restore the website from a backup copy.

    During the process, I lost several client registrations. Now, I’m trying to figure out how to add them back from a copy of the WordPress db I saved. Can anyone recommend a WordPress database editor that will allow me to add the info back?

  • Yes I just had the same thing happened to me. I even tried adding them back in and then updating and then it was duplicating again. Currently my last saved forms are showing all fields but if I go to edit them, it will happen again. What is going on??

    Same issue here, along with other issues as well.
    I dont know any WP database plugin though, sorry.

    Yes, this is a BIG screwup. I hope the developers resolve this soon.

    Similar issue here. Duplicate fields and suddenly when making changes I get fields like First Name and Last Name show up as ? false.

    Hey lancermedia, they just pushed out a new update, which I think is v3.0.8. Have you tried that to see if it resolves the issue?

    Yeah, I updated but things are still screwy.

    On v 3.0.8 I can do this:

    – create a new form (blank)
    – add a First Name field to it (from their User Info fields)
    – add a submit button
    – save the form
    – exit out of the form editor
    – go back into edit the form – all fields are shown as: ? false
    – clicking on any result in Field type “” not found.

    That’s really disappointing. Thankfully, I was able to restore my clients website using a backup. As a result I’m still on v3.0.6. I would expect this kind of stuff from a version change (2.0 to 3.0), but not version tweaks. I sure hope they’re watching this forum.

    Thankfully my site is still in dev – and I just restored the whole thing back to a version where I am running 3.0.5 for Ninja Forms. No issues with this version.

    So for me, it’s the upgrade from 3.0.5 to 3.0.8 that is causing the issue. I entered a support request and will update this post with what I find out.

    They just released 3.0.9. Seems to be working better for me.

    Thanks guys. I appreciate the update. Just to confirm, and because I’ve been burned before, do you feel like the v3.0.9 has completely resolved the issues we all described?

    I still wouldn’t touch it. Even with the latest update – I now have a problem with the Country field.

    Add a country field to a form and save. The field shows fine – all countries listed.
    Go back and edit anything on the form and save. Now the country field only shows One, Two, Three as value.

    Honestly, I think I’m done with Ninja Forms. This 3.0 release is a disaster, and I’ve entered more support tickets since it’s release in September than all through version 2.x.

    That sucks! Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately, I have so many sites using NinjaForms that if I switched it would be a big undertaking. Hopefully, the developers will get this fixed soon.
