v3.4.5 broken on some sites

    On some sites, I’m finding that update to 3.4.5 is breaking plugin. First time I run a manual backup, it says starting… then deleting old backups… (even though there are fewer there than it says it will keep) and gets stuck. After that, whatever I do, nothing: starting… then page refreshes and nothing else.

    When I reverted to 3.4.2 it started working as expected again.

    This host is running php 5.3.3 – has the minimum requirement gone up?

    Are you still experiencing issues? Did you try updating to 3.5? We are in the process of pushing a fix for a command that was included but not actually available until php 5.3.6 – so that could be what’s happened here as well. If you are still having trouble, please let me know if you have any errors come up on the error logs on the site/server that might indicate this is affecting your site, okay?

    Thanks Kat, trying to update to latest to test, but now having the ‘update failed’ issue reported elsewhere. Will keep an eye on that and see if 3.6 works better… when I can get it! Cheers.

    This should be resolved in 3.6 but please post back if you find you’re still having trouble so we can do more troubleshooting, okay?
