V6018: Unknown Payment CurrencyCode

    Hi There,

    I am using your plugin to make a payment page on a NZ website. The website is part of a wordpress multisite setup.

    The error I get is “Transaction failed:V6018: Unknown Payment CurrencyCode”. I’ve set the currency to NZD in the settings – is there anything I missed?

    The invoice total is a “product” field with “user defined price” (as every invoice is different). Is this where the error is happening? Any help would be appreciated.

    G’day Lauren,

    Are you using the NZ sandbox, or live transactions? Have you confirmed that your eWAY account is set for NZD?

    FWIW, I build/test on multisite, and user defined price is supported.

    Hi Ross,

    You were correct – I was using the AU sandbox. It turns out that it is actually quite difficult to create a partner portal and therefore sandbox for 2 separate countries (we need an account for AU and NZ) due to cookie issues. Although I was logging in through the NZ site it was redirecting me to the AU one.

    In the end I was able to setup a separate sandbox account for each country but only manually via the eway support team.

    All seems to be working now.

    No worries, I had the same problems getting a UK sandbox account. Glad to hear it’s all working!
