V6126: Invalid encrypted card number, decryption failed Order status changed fro

  • Hi there. From time to time we get this error. 9 times out of 10 works fine. But not always. I cannot see any Javascript errors on our check out page. The account and encryption keys etc are set up and we process quite a lot of orders each day with success across various payment gateways including eway. Do you have any suggestions?

    G’day robadeedoo123,

    I reckon it’s still the Afterpay add-on, but frankly you have quite a lot going on there in the checkout and any one of those payment methods could be modifying the browser environment in any number of ways. I think you’d be better off using the “recommended” and “official” add-on for Eway, because it takes the customer away from that environment and builds a clean one for the Eway part of the transaction.
