Can you create a function to just display the notice, but don’t close the store publically. I want to place a notice that we are low in stock but want to still be able to make sales on the stock we do have left, but don’t want to ‘close store publically’.

Hello, Ryan.

Yes, you can show a vacation notice without preventing customers from adding items to their carts.

1. Go to the plugin setting.
2. Check the box next to Set Vacation Mode
3. Select the Start Date and End Date
4. In the field labeled Vacation Notice, type your message.
5. Click on the Save Changes button.

?? To display the add to cart button and allow users to place an order while in vacation mode, ensure the Disable Purchase checkbox is not selected.

Thank you, but it doesn’t just say ‘Set Vacation Mode’. It says ‘Turn on Vacation mode and close my store publicly.

What does ‘close my store publically entail? As I need it to stay open. It is just the notice banner that I need and don’t want any restrictions (i.e nofollow on robots.txt)

We appreciate your letting us know about the syntax error; a future update will include a label update. Yes, until you choose the Disable Purchase option, the Set Vacation mode won’t close the shop.
Furthermore, even if you select the Disable Purchase option, your store will still be accessible, and your search engine rankings won’t be impacted. Still, your customers can browse the available options and plan their purchases. No purchases or transactions can be made while on vacation with the Disable Purchase checkbox selected because it disables the cart and checkout process.
