Vacation settings?

Hi!
I would like to close my shop for a few days. The shop itself should still be visible and functional, but without the option of ordering anything. I would set a notice accross the top, but I also want the shopping cart disabled or somthing like that (otherwise I’ll never catch up with all the orders after my vacation).
Is there an easy way of doing this? Did I just miss a setting somewhere? Or is there a plugin?
