Validate Contact Form 7 Configuration message

is the form still working on the front-end?

I checked it with both the languages I have now in the site, got the “Sent” message and also got the message to my email.
Can this be CF7 bug?

I think I have found a solution, what I did is as follows;

1. Export all your forms from; Tools > export
2. Delete Contact Form 7 and all associated plugins.
3. Clean Data Base, I used Advanced Data Base Cleaner plugin.
4. Reinstall Contact Form 7
5. Import all forms; Tools > Import
7. Reinstall all CF7 associated plugins.
8. Open and test all forms.

The above worked perfectly for me.

What you mean by “Clean Data Base”?
I can’t delete the data base

You should clean the Data Base, not delete it. However you could try the rest of the points without cleaning the Data Base.

It may well still work.

I am aware of this issue and I am rolling out a fix soon. This is currently fixed in v4.11.5 beta 1 available on the github repo, install it manually is you are in hurry to fix this.

This is due to a CF7 plugin update. One or more of your forms has misconfiguration errors.

UPDATE: there is still an issue with the beta release, the errors are still flagged even once fixed….I’ll fix this tomorrow!

this is now fixed in v4.11.5. Please upgrade and let me know if it works for you. You should now be able to see CF7 plugin form validation errors being flagged in the form table. Once you have corrected those errors, you can force CF7 to revalidate and get rid of the annoying messages!

what happened to this discussion, all my messages have disappeared?

Anyway, my last message was that I did a test on the WP instance that did not have your plugin installed. I installed your plugin and the URL …/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpcf7&action=validate stopped working, clicking on it just brings me back to the contact forms and not to the validation page.

I then un-installed your plugin and the URL started working again.

Had to flag the thread to the moderator this morning to get them to reopen it.

I have found a small bug which I find this morning on the plug-in and releasing v4.11.6 later today. Try that and report back

Yes, v4.11.5 is the version I’m using.

No, it’s not normal that your post for deleted. You’ll need to raise this with the forum moderator. The forum moderation can be quite stringent
