Validating error

When I try to use _pronamic_google_maps_address and use as a address to get google map and than validate it I get an error: Whitespace in query component. Use %20 in place of spaces.
Is it possible to get the valu of _pronamic_google_maps_address and filter it to take away whitespaces and replace those with %20?
