validation and redirect after submission

Hi,
When I use a shortcode I don’t get any validation.
Also, I want users to redirect to another page after submission… I tried adding the javascript you posted in another thread under wp_footer() but it didn’t work (I tried changing form/classes etc).
Any ideas?
