Vanishing Drafts

  • There were two draft posts waiting for publishing in WP 1.5.2. They are now gone. The only other user is a level one and, in any event, says she didn’t go near them. (And they’re hers, so it’s not likely she would have wanted to make them disappear.) Is there some time limit on drafts, after which they just plain disappear? Is this a known issue of some type?

  • Well, I can atest to the fact that there isn’t a time limit, I’ve got a “Draft” that’s been that way for….. about a year now. So that can’t be it… unless someone deleted it, I can’t think of any reason they would disappear.

    I’ve got the same problem here: I have over 24 drafts in the manage section – but only 24 are showing up. Looking for keywords in the database, my 25th draft shows up (!), but it’s not in my draft list. There are 25 all in all, but the one I was working on for three days is not there. Could it be that the “save and continue editing” and then just closing the browser/blue screen without saving the post is the reason why it’s not in the draft list?
