Vantage theam with Rovoultion slider padding problem

  • Im working on a site for my lil sis. we are using the vantage premium them. but are not to happy with the meta slider. I like the look of the revolution slider over the meta slider with comes standard with vantage. The meta slider has been ditched but not with out a bit of complication. I can seem to get the side padding right. iv managed to get the padding at the top sorted. but when I change the padding for the side width it changes the widgets on the main page as well.

    if I change the padding from 35px to 0px the slider fills the Boxed page. but the mainpage widgets move right to the side as well.
    how can I specify the slider to have 0px 0px padding and not effect the widgets.
