• I am using Vantage with WooCommerce and it basically has been a good combo, except for a period earlier this year when WooCommerce updated its product image viewer and SiteOrigin did not keep up with the changes, causing a lot of headaches for a few weeks when it screwed up that whole function. WooCommerce claimed they’d notified all template makers 3 months beforehand that the change was coming, and the impression I got was that SiteOrigin did seem to have procrastinated in making the modifications they’d have to make. On the other hand WooCommerce’s rollout of the new feature was very, very buggy. So both companies have a responsibility for the temporary mess that made of our site, and I hope they do a better job of cooperating in the future. I have done a lot of customization via a Child Theme to get Vantage the way I want. I find the variety of ways that a SiteOrigin page can be customized still gets confusing after a year of using it (sometimes they are in conflict with each other), but I do appreciate that if I post to the forum, eventually I will get a helpful response. So I’m sticking with Vantage for our store.

  • Hi @glazergallery

Thanks so much for taking the time to add your thoughtful review and feedback.

I’m really sorry to hear the WooCommerce changes earlier this year caused so much hassle on your site, that definitely isn’t how we like things to go. In the event we see a major change like this in the future, we’ll be sure to have a release out right away to resolve the issue.

If you have any questions moving forward, please, let us know.
All the best with your site and remainder of the working year ??
