Trying to set up variable pricing for a restaurant for online orders.

Will have options with a plate for different types of bread, sauce, and sides. There is an upcharge for certain types of bread and extra sauces.

Will I need a special plugin to make this manageable? There are 3 bread choices, 5 sauce choices, and 8 choices of sides (and they will have two sides for some products).

Trying to figure the best way to configure this. In the past I’ve only had to do one variable option (size) so this is a bit overwhelming right now.

    Many thanks in advance!

  • Have a look at add-on type plugins, such as:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wc-fields-factory/

It will allow you to use the simple product type, then add sets of either dropdowns or radios to allow the user to configure the extras. So far as I know, its the only free plugin that allows options to be priced, but there are several premium add-on type plugins that support priced options.

Add-on plugins don’t allow stock control or separate images for variations, but on the plus side they make it easier to manage a large number of variations.
