I’m trying out the color swatches and am running into an issue where the images for the variable swatches turn vague/blurry on the gallery page, when going to the product page itself they are nice and sharp but in the page where you see all the products they become slightly vague/blurred. I tried re-uploading, creating a new product and adjusting the image size (they are 300dpi and around 2400px x 2400px originally).

Any ideas as to what might be causing this? The standard images show just fine it’s only if you click one of the swatches without going into the product page.

    Hello?@scumb4g,

    Greetings of the day!

Did you check for the other plugin conflict, like any performance optimization plugin, that might be causing the images to load blurry?

Try to deactivate all the plugins temporarily except Variation swatches and WooCommerce, and see if that solves the problem. Then, activate plugins to see which plugin is causing the problem.

Also try switching to another theme, like Twenty Twenty-One, and check whether the issue persists to see if the issue is with the theme.

Let me know how that goes.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello @aamiribsf,
Thank you for getting back to me. I tried disabling my other plugins (It’s a fresh site so not much there) but there are no changes, in the Twenty Twenty-Three theme the blurryness is much less noticeable but it’s still there, I am not sure if that gives some more information on what may cause the issue.
I installed many other themes but they come with a whole new set of issues trying to get the Archive page to work and show the swatch variations, so I obviously prefer to stick to the Twenty Twenty-Four theme.

Hi @bhshravankumar It’s hidden from the page as I’m just testing it out so you can only go there by typing the url (or the link of course) https://scumb4gkustoms.com/store/
I only got a couple of things in there as I don’t want to build a whole store yet before I know I can get it to work. The only other plugin I use atm is to hide the add to cart button as for now I only want to use the store to show case what I have.

    Thanks

EDIT: I managed to get the circles back but I cannot change their color anymore (ie they are all white and there are no options to change it), pictures are still blurry when I click the variations.

@bhshravankumar @aamiribsf it has gotten even worse now, for some reason it is no lonnger showing colored swatches but just the name of the color with a rounded border around it and I can’t even get it back to the colored swatches.

Had to re-make the Attributes and rset them to get the color options back, probably due to deactivating and re-activating the plugin. Imiges remain blurry on the variations though (ony the main product image is sharp, variations are sharp in the product page just not on the archive page.
