Hello I need help with Woocommerce,

If I create a variable product and all the variations price are discounted on the shop and even on the backend the product price displays as 0.

This doesn’t affect the variations themselves, if I open the product page the prices are shown correctly and they get correctly added to the cart.

Even if only one of the variations is not discounted the price is shown correctly, it happens only when all variations are discounted. I cannot figure out why, what’s really strange is that in the backend the price is displayed as 0.

Here are some images of what’s happening:

Here is what the price of the product looks like on the backend: https://i.imgur.com/VqayWQe.png even if all the variations prices are set up like this: https://i.imgur.com/CIJ9poy.png

  • Hi @marcoosan,

I’m trying to reproduce this issue on my end. Could you share your System Status Report? Also, if you’re able to share a larger screenshot showing all of the variations and settings you’re using, it might help to narrow down where the issue is. I’ve tried it with a simple variation, and all of the prices are displaying as expected.

    Thanks,

    Jon

    Hi @marcoosan

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that there might be an issue with how the prices are displayed for variable products when all variations are discounted.

I replicated the scenario on my personal site running on the default Storefront theme, however, I am unable to reproduce the issue on my end. The regular and sale prices remain the save even after saving these prices.

It looks like a third-party plugin or your theme might be causing the conflict here.

For us to investigate this further, can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled and see if the prices at back-end remain the same?

If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

If this did not resolve the issue, please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

Let us know how it goes!
