Variable Width images in Carousels?

  • Right now, it seems the width settings are for the carousel and not the images. It re-sizes the images into squares to fit the number of items I set within the carousel ‘box’. I have box portrait- and landscape-oriented images and would like them to appear in the carousel with variable widths (rectangles instead of squares for some, basically).

    Can anyone help me with how to make that happen?

  • Hi.. Not sure if this is what you mean.. and Im definitely not a pro at this.. my first site build, BUT I was having sooo much trouble trying to figure out this carousal slider and found that if I goto my widgets page click the footer I have the widget in it shows the code and I manually changed the size little by little to find the better fit for my pics.. this is the code: [su_carousel source=”media: 120, 121,115,118,11,116,117,119″ width=”2300″ height=”500″ items=”3″ title=”no”]

    I STILL have not figured out how to have the carousal slider on my home page ONLY. right now it’s showing on all pages. I’ve looked in all the settings I can find and i’m not very experienced with coding.. my site so that you can see my slider how it is if you want: https://www.ddova.com
